When you go to the grocery store, it can be hard to pick out the right amount of produce for the week.
We're all guilty of buying a little too much (like our grandparents used to say, it's always better to have more food than less, right?), which can mean that you're throwing out a lot more food than you would like. Not only is that wasteful, but it's expensive!
How do you keep produce fresh? It is "fresh" after all, which means you only have a few days to eat it before it isn't "fresh" anymore.
Is there anything we can do differently?
Turns out, there is!
Thanks to this video from BuzzFeed, there are a few simple tricks to help make your food last a lot longer with stuff you likely already have in your kitchen.
For example, keep your celery crispy by wrapping it in foil before putting it in the fridge. Easy!
