After learning her son, Anthony, swallowed a dog’s squeaky toy, this mother took him to the emergency room to get it removed.
As they were waiting, she decided to record a video of his predicament and share it online because it was too funny to miss seeing – or rather, hearing.
With every breath, whether it was an inhale or exhale, Anthony squeaked, just like the squeaky toy. When he speaks, his words come out normally, but in all the breaths between, it’s impossible to mistake the absurd squeaking noises for anything else.
Anthony seems a little too old to be mistakenly swallowing things – and the smirk on his face as he answers his mom’s questions for the camera is also telling.
He doesn’t seem at all remorseful about the fact that he’s landed himself in the emergency room and even seems amused by his own antics.
As amusing as swallowing or inhaling objects might be, doctors advise everyone of all ages to take caution. It can be incredibly dangerous to ingest something that’s not mean to be consumed. These objects can present serious choking hazards or cause damage to the inside of your body.
