With allergy season just around the corner, many of us are gearing up for watery eyes, stuffy noses, and tons of sneezing.
If you’re prone to sinus infections, especially, you know how tough it is to get through a work day with nasal congestion and a throbbing headache plaguing your every move.
There are plenty of prescription and OTC medications out there to help deal with allergies and sinus congestion, but when you’re looking for a natural boost, a “sinus bath” might be just what the doctor ordered.
By combining salts and essential oils, you can quickly give yourself some much-needed relief from muscle aches and constant congestion when you really need it most—before bed!
Prepare yourself for a night of relaxation and healing with this DIY Sinus Bath
What you’ll need:
- ½ cup Baking Soda
- 1 cup Epsom Salt
- Peppermint Essential Oil (about 5 drops)
- Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil (about 10 drops)
Once you have all your ingredients, mix them together in a mason jar. Make sure you have a good airtight lid for storage!
Add a couple of scoops of this incredible mixture to a warm bath any time you’re feeling congested and under the weather.
While the Epsom salt will work wonders to make your skin feel soft and radiant, the essential oils can help relieve even the most uncomfortable sinus congestion—not to mention a warm bath in itself is an excellent way to relax and unwind before bed!
