Woman Goes To Playground And Walks Over To A Little Boy. Then She Puts Something Into His Mouth.

It all happened on the playground.

A California woman is facing attempted murder charges after she was accused of purposely putting meth inside a child’s mouth on a playground.

According to The Daily Mail, 36-year-old Sayyadina Thomas allegedly gave the 2-year-old child what she later described to police as a meth pill while he was playing on a Berkeley playground in front of his nanny.

The nanny reportedly watched as the boy started putting something in his mouth, but by the time she caught up with him, he had already ingested it.

When authorities arrived at the scene, Thomas reportedly confessed to giving the boy meth while he was playing.

After being rushed to the hospital by paramedics, the toddler is expected to make a full recovery.

According to the San Francisco Gate, Thomas saw the boy playing at the park and approached him around 3:30 p.m. on Monday.

Although very little is known about Thomas at this time, it is believed that she has lived in both California and New York.

Once authorities spoke with Thomas, they determined that she needed an immediatel psychiatric evaluation.

While Thomas is believed to have children of her own, it is unknown whether they were still in her custody at the time of her arrest.

Several news stations have shared this disturbing story online, where many commenters praised paramedics for saving the boy’s life.

“I have no Pitty for anyone that intentionally hurts a child. She needs to die or never reproduce again. I'm not even for the death penalty but I'm tired and so sad of seeing this type of crap in the world,” one woman commented.

“I hope they are looking into whether or not she is involved with child trafficking. Lots of times they will give children drugs before snatching and selling them. That or she is nuts..” another wrote.

Others actually felt sorry for Thomas after seeing her crazed mugshot on the news.

“I've known Sayyadina since she was 14 and went by another name... This is the end result of years of abuse, neglect, and trauma. I'm crying right now because she had the potential to do and be so much more...” one commenter wrote on Kron4’s website.

Although Thomas was taken to a local hospital for a psychiatric evaluation, it remains unclear exactly what came of that evaluation.

Authorities have also not announced if Thomas had any relatives in the area that could be notified.
