Do you have a restaurant you visit regularly? Perhaps it’s a coffee shop, or a local convenience store, but every time you go there, the staff knows your name and exactly what you want to order. It’s actually kind of a nice feeling, to be a regular somewhere. While sometimes you feel like your life may be getting monotonous, there’s no shame in knowing what you like, plus it’s pretty cool to have employees knowing your name and your preferences!

One man from Salem, Oregon named Kirk Alexander absolutely loved Domino’s pizza. He loves the pizza chain so much, in fact, that every night around about 11pm, he orders his favorite pie. The staff at Domino’s got so used to Kirk’s orders, that they had come to expect them every night around his usual ordering time.

But one night, no online order from Kirk came through. A few more nights went by without any word from Kirk, and the staff began to grow concerned. The store’s manager and assistant manager Sarah Fuller and Jenny Seiber were worried that something bad may have happened to their loyal customer. They decided to send one of their drivers out to go check on Kirk and see if something was wrong.

When the driver, Tracey Hamblen, got to Kirk’s house, he could see that his television lights were on. But when he knocked on the door, no one came to answer it. Tracey returned to the store and let Sarah and Jenny know what he had discovered. The girls thought it best to call the police, which is exactly what Tracey did.

The deliver driver called 911 and let the dispatcher know that Kirk hadn’t ordered from them in 11 days, which was strange as he ordered from their store every night.

The police made their way to Kirk’s home, and could hear him yelling for help from inside when they arrived. He was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment, and is reportedly doing better already. While his condition has not been released, but Kirk has suffered from health issues for quite some time, causing him to rarely leave his house.

Sarah and Jenny went to visit Kirk in the hospital, and were happy to see his health improving.

“The first day we saw him he was a little out of it, just yes and no questions, and then I went back on Monday and he was doing a lot better. We saw him yesterday and he had been moved to the rehabilitation center at the hospital and he was saying a little bit more.” she said. “He’s still really tired but he seems to be doing a lot better and making a recovery.”

The Domino’s managers were honored for their heroic act and quick thinking by Good Morning America with movie tickets and a trip to Las Vegas!

Thanks to the concern and care these two young women showed, a life was saved! We’re sure Kirk is forever grateful to the staff at Domino’s for what they did that night.
