Two long-lost cat brothers have miraculously been reunited after their two owners went on a Tinder date.
According to Mashable, Butter and Ozzie were sadly separated when they were adopted by different families from a shelter in Petaluma, California.
The beautiful white an orange brothers likely never would have seen each other again had their respective owners not met by chance on Tinder some time later.
Brian Herrera and Cathleen Cavin had reportedly just started chatting on Tinder, when Cavin decided she didn’t really want to go out with anybody.
Still, she relented and decided to give Herrera a chance.
The pair ended up hitting it off so well that Cavin actually went back to Herrera’s house, where she saw something that shook her to her core: Ozzie, her cat.
Except it wasn’t! The adorable cat ended up being Herrera’s own feline friend, Butter.
“I could not believe my eyes,” Cavin told Lovemeow. “I yelled out, ‘you have my cat!’ ”
Cavin so was shocked in fact that she invited Herrera and his daughter over to her house the next day to meet Ozzie.
The similarities between the two cats were uncanny, so Cavin and Herrera decided to consult their adoption papers.
Lo and behold, Butter and Ozzie were actually brothers!
Surprisingly enough, Cavin initially wanted to adopt both Butter and Ozzie when she went looking for a new cat, but her landlord wouldn’t allow her to have two cats.
Heartbroken over separating the two brothers, Cavin later called the shelter in hopes of adopting Ozzie’s brother anyway, but she quickly learned that the other cat had already been adopted.
Even after finding out about the quirky relationship, however, it still took eight months for Cavin and Herrera to reunite the long-lost brothers.
They were finally brought back together last week, and Cavin described it as "the cutest thing I've ever seen."
As for Cavin and Herrera, they’re a match made in heaven. The couple plans to move in together next month!

“My husband and I adopted 2 brothers 14 years ago from a pet store in New Jersey. They are always together. We even relocated to Florida with them. They love the warm weather,” Patty Pyatt added.
“Make a movie it's called the cat's purpose basically the cats unite there owners so the brothers can see each other again,” John Alfred Cabalsi continued.
