Lara Shoemark, 19 years old, was minding her own business when she spotted a couple doing something suspicious under the bridge next to her house. When she took a closer look, she discovered that the couple was having sex.
Shoemark, who’s a mom of two children, was doing her laundry when she spotted the two people. At first, she thought that they were just there to shelter themselves from the rain. But when they started kissing, that’s when Shoemark knew something was about to happen.
Shoemark told Metro, “I was just in my living room and I’ve got a big window, half the length of the room. I was hanging up my washing on the radiator when I saw them. I was in shock. They were there for ten or 15 minutes. At first, they just stopped underneath the bridge as it was really badly raining, for shelter.”
She continued, “Then they started kissing and then after a while he put his hands up her skirt and she put her hands down his trousers. You could see she was messing around. After that he lifted her leg up and then they started having sex.”
Shoemark took a couple of photos of the couple and posted them on Facebook. She wrote: "Can't believe I looked out of my living room window to see people having sex. So disgusting and I am so glad my children aren't tall enough to see out of the window.”
Shoemark said, “I decided to put the pictures online because it’s the third time it’s happened and when my kids are older I don’t want them to see it. It is disgusting.”
She continued, “Since I put the pictures up a lot of people have complained that it’s just a normal thing to do to have sex outside. I’ve never experienced that myself. I wouldn’t even think about it. If you’re horny just go home.”
Shoemark lives in Bridgwater with her partner, Leon Turberfield, and their two children.
Shoemark said, “You don’t expect to look out of my window and see people having sex. It is the same exact spot that we’ve seen people having sex before. It’s very disrespectful. I have got two kids and if they were tall enough to see out of the window I’d have been really angry.”
She continued, “My front door faces the bridge and it’s literally right outside my window. There must be a hundred other houses here. You have got to be dumb to think you can have sex there without being seen.”
