Bullying has always been a major problem in middle and high schools. Every year, there’s always a significant number of students who get bullied. School administrators, however, have no clue on how to handle such extreme cases.

Bullies usually exert such perceived authority over their peers due to a lack of parental guidance or difficulties from home. Well, the same can be said to any kid. Actions that are deemed rebellious were almost always seen as a reaction from the kids’ difficult life at home.

No matter what the cause is, bullying is bad. It doesn’t really satisfy the person’s anger. Actions that come from bullying only result to more damages.

So, a 15 years old boy came home to his family with a terrifyingly huge lump on the right side of his face, his family immediately took action. According to Metro, the boy was allegedly attacked by an indefinite number of peers as soon as he got off the school bus.

He suffered tremendous injuries from an assault while he was walking from school. The assault resulted to the boy having two fat lips and was taken to the hospital for a broken jaw. The incident happened last week.

Sarah Davies, a family friend, said, “Please, if anyone saw anything please tell the police. I’m sharing this with his mom’s permission.”

South Wales Police are now investigating the attack. According to report, the boy was assaulted in Bridgend, South Wales last Wednesday. A suspect, who’s a boy and 17 years old, had been arrested. However, he was bailed and further inquiries were to follow him.

Officers were urging anyone who had witnessed the attack to come forward and speak up.

A spokesperson for South Wales Police said, “Police in Bridgend are appealing for witnesses to an assault on a teenage boy in North Cornelly to come forward. The incident occurred as the 15 years old victim got off a bus at Woodland Place, at approximately 4pm on Wednesday, February 8, 2017.”

The spokesperson continued, “He sustained serious facial injuries which required hospital treatment. A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and bailed in connection with the incident.”

People who live in the area were quick to call the act against the boy as disgusting and inhumane. One of the them wrote a comment that read: “Some utter scumbags about - why oh why do people think it’s big and clever to kick the crap out of someone... I hope they catch the scumbag that did this.”

The victim remains unnamed due to obvious reasons.
