This Photo Of A Woman's Belly Rolls Are Going Viral. Now Look At The Message She Wrote With Them

Ashlie Molstad is a fitness junkie who has created a fitness program to help jump start others’ fitness journeys, all while continuing to share her own personal stories – and struggles – with staying in shape. This is why her latest story, out of everything else she’s shared, has gained so much traction.

31-year-old Ashlie Molstad is the fitness junkie behind FoodieGirlFitness, a fitness program that helps people achieve their ultimate, desired “Beachbody.”

Just recently, however, she became widely known for another reason.

On November 11, Molstad shared two photos, set side-by-side with each other, of herself. She’s wearing the same outfit – sports bra and underwear – in both photos, but she poses very differently.

In one, you can clearly see her toned abs and muscle definition throughout her body as she stands, posing with her arms behind her head.

In the other, Molstad sits down with one leg brought up to her chest. She slouches a little, leaning her head on her hand, allowing her belly rolls to be displayed in plain sight.

“If I'm going to show you the posed, put together, professional sides of me, I'm gonna make damn sure you see the not so flattering sides too,” Molstad explained in the caption.

The fitness trainer then goes on to explain that it’s crucial for everyone to “embrace who [they] are, at every angle and size.”

The message society sends us about body image isn’t at all conducive to this – and she admits that she still struggles with fully accepting her own body at times – “but it does mean that I understand working on loving me is the most important job I will ever have.”

Particularly given Molstad’s past battle against depression, her inspirational words now hold a little more weight. She is allowing herself to become vulnerable to her followers and others on the Internet, all in hopes that she will encourage others to do the same.

Molstad’s message has been shared almost 60k times and has been seen by at least 167k people. We can only hope that more people will continue to see this post, even as time goes on.
