Dr. Siamak Agha is a certified plastic surgeon from Newport Beach, California who has earned himself quite the following on social media, thanks to the before and after photos he shares of his plastic surgery patients.

He focuses on cosmetic makeovers, including facelifts and breast augmentation, as well as full body and booty contouring.

Yes, Dr. Agha specializes in a procedure where he moves fat from one part of a patient’s body to their butt. During this, he uses the fat to reshape the buttocks to become rounder and firmer.

He calls this process “revision plastic surgery;” unwanted fat is taken from certain parts of the patient’s body via liposuction, and then transferred to the butt.

In the past two years, demand for these procedures has increased by 28%.

After seeing the photos on Dr. Agha’s Instagram, however, it becomes less surprising that a cosmetic procedure this extreme has become so popular.

The plastic surgeon posts before and after photos of many of his patients, most of whom undergo the butt lift or full body contouring procedure. In all of the before shots, you can see the lines and marks that Dr. Agha draws to mark where he extracts and transfers the fat on his patients’ bodies.

The after photos all show the patients’ bodies free of these guiding lines, but in their place are angry, red stitches from where Dr. Agha transferred the fat.

Although the stitches are a little frightening to behold, the results are otherwise distinct and immediately visible. Every altered body looks surprisingly natural, and some shots even show the patients several months post-op; their scars and stitches have faded and the results look amazing.

When it comes to the question of safety, Dr. Agha insists that his practice is safe and reassures his patients that he is a certified plastic surgeon, but other doctors are a little hesitant to voice their support.

Other plastic surgeons want to warn potential patients that Dr. Agha’s practice isn’t a minor surgery, as his photos seem to suggest. The entire process can become “a very major surgery,” and patients should take care to consider whether the procedure is for them before they go under the knife.
