Ever since we were little kids, we’ve been told that breakfast is, by far, the most important meal of the day.

And that may be true, but that doesn’t mean it’s our favorite meal of the day—at least, not until now.

What you put in your body first thing in the morning can easily determine how you feel for the rest of the day.

For instance, a bowl of Lucky Charms may give you a rush of sugar that helps you wake up immediately, but there’s no doubt you’ll crash long before lunchtime.

That’s why most health experts recommend eating a healthy filling breakfast, like eggs or plain oatmeal with fruit.

But why should you have to sacrifice taste for your health? The answer: You don’t!

With this incredible breakfast recipe by the blog Living Sweet Moments, you can have your cake (well, pancake) and eat it too!

As long as you have a blender, you’ll be eating delicious pancakes in five minutes or less—without the loaded carbs and sugar you usually find in pancake recipes.

Here what you need:

  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Ripe Banana

Seriously, those are the only ingredients you need for this delicious pancake recipe!

Let’s get started:

  1. Mix eggs and banana in a blender until the mixture is smooth, just like regular pancake batter.
  2. Start heating a non-stick skillet and coat with non-stick cooking spray.
  3. Pour banana batter onto skillet as you would with normal pancake batter, but keep in mind that these ingredients will spread quickly.
  4. Once you see bubbles starting to form, flip the pancakes for no more than 10 seconds.
  5. Remove pancakes from the heat and enjoy without guilt!

Not only are these pancakes incredibly fluffy and delicious, but they’re so unbelievably healthy. They’re great when you want something tasty to start the day, and they take just a few minutes to make.
