We all know that at the end of a good yoga session, there is always a little time left to meditate. "Breathe deeply," your yoga instructor will say. Then there's something about breathing in completely, and breathing out completely.
You would think that since we breath all day every day, we already know how to breathe correctly--turns out, that's probably not true.
To breathe correctly, you need to always breathe deeply, using all your lungs as well as your diaphragm. Those shallow breaths you tend to have when you're stressed, anxious, or even just sitting on your couch doing nothing is, ultimately, incorrect (and can actually make you feel more tired!).
Thanks to BuzzFeedBlue, there are a few simply tricks you can utilize in order to ensure that you're breathing correctly all the time.
You'll feel more energized, you'll help brain function, increase the oxygen in your blood, and just feel more at peace.
Ready, set, go!
