You take care of your brain, eat right, exercise, and keep yourself stress-free, but what are you doing to exercise and take care of your brain?

The number one way that you can boost brain power is by meditation. Without a doubt, this is the only way to go when it comes to free, fast, and easy care for your brain.

According to a study in the journal Frontiers in Human Neuroscience, meditation helps your brain have better control over processing pain and emotions.

In the study, participants engaged in four 20-minute meditation practices. Researchers then touched the participants' calf with a piece of metal that was hot to the touch--about 120 degrees. Those who had meditated reported that it was, on average, 40 percent less painful and 57 percent less uncomfortable than before their practice.
