Healthy Protein Pancakes with Chocolate Chips

Making a healthy and tasty breakfast can be hard sometimes--especially when a lot of your options for breakfast include sugary, fat-filled pastries that are sure to make you crash before lunch. That doesn't mean that a stack of pancakes with some maple syrup don't sound absolutely delicious, though!

Is there a way that you can have your pancakes now without the sugar crash later?

Turns out, yes! You can!

It's simple: just swap out that pancake mix for this amazing protein pancake recipe. These pancakes are still light and fluffy, but with the added benefit of protein and fiber to help stabilize your blood sugar.

All you need is an egg, a banana, some chocolate chips, oats, whey, and some casein. Blend them together in a food processor (this is where a Ninja or a Magic Bullet come in handy!) and you have a delicious, easy, healthy pancake batter! Just pour onto a frying pan and you're good to go.
