It can be hard to motivate yourself to get up in the morning (it's like Antarctica outside the comforts of your bed!) but if there's one way everyone should wake up in the morning, it's with a nice short yoga routine.

Starting your day with yoga can actually jump start your metabolism--up to 12 percent!--and get rid of all the early morning kinks you might have gotten while you were sleeping. Not only that, it will warm you up for the day!
Be sure to grab your yoga mat and get on your yoga gear on, and get your day started right!
If you don't have any yoga gear, simply wear clothes that won't be getting in your way while you're moving around (snug clothes with a little bit of a stretch work best). If you don't have a yoga mat, try wearing no-slip socks so that you can firmly hold some of these positions without worrying about slipping!
